Seaside Heights, NJ. July 16 - 20, 2023.

Ellie's family rented a townhouse on Ocean Avenue.  It has 3 bedrooms, so there is a spare room that we could use.  Drive to Seaside Heights from our house takes about an hour, so it was reasonably easy to get to.  Indeed on Wednesday July 19 I drove up to Newark Airport to pick up the Yangs returning from Europe.  They didn't get out until around 9:30 pm, I dropped them off in Holmdel, and then drove back - following local roads suggested by Google - and got back around 11:30 pm.  The "scenic road" was so pleasant that we decided to return home on it the next day.

A nice few days spent with family.  I went to the beach, but didn't dip my toes in the water.  Ellie and her family could spend hours sitting on the beach and (the kids) playing around with sand.

We also hit miniature golf, and the kids went on many rides at Casino Pier.

Playing Anti-Monopoly.  I still don't know what the rules or the objectives are.

Three generations playing minigolf.  Thirty-some years ago Ellie and Joe did that with Anne's father.  The circle of life, or some such thing.

Comparing our scores.
